Consultant in Sports and Exercise Medicine

  • Fellow of the Royal College of Sport & Exercise Medicine, Adam moved to Jersey in 1996 having trained at St Barts and Bath. His passions are his family and sport.

  • Awarded Fellowship of The Faculty of Sports and Exercise medicine in 2014.

  • Honorary Doctor to Jersey Reds Professional Rugby and to Jersey Commonwealth and Island Games Associations.

  • Honorary Doctor to Jersey Special Ability and Disabled Sports Association.

  • Medical Director of Elite Sport in Jersey. 

  • Lead Sports Doctor of Jersey Sports Foundation.

  • Paralympics London 2012 - as Sports Medicine Doctor and Aquatic Sports Doctor Lead.

  • Jersey Surf and Cricket Honorary Doctor.

  • Attended Melbourne, Delhi, Glasgow and Gold Coast Commonwealth Games as Head of Medical Services and Sports doctor.

  • Sports doctor to Jersey Island Games since 1997.
    Head of Medical Services - Jersey NatWest Island Games 2015.

Elite and Recreational Sport; Diagnostic ultrasound; Ultrasound guided injections; Specific interest in Professional Rugby and Concussion; Disabled and Paralympic Sports Injury and Illness; Shockwave therapy; Platelet rich plasma injections; High Volume tendon injections; working as part of a multidisciplinary sports medicine team; adolescent osteochondroses; Gait analysis and biomechanics; multi-sport team events such as commonwealth and island games provision; acute pitch side sports medical provision.
